Walk and Talk Therapy
Service Description
Nature-inspired walk and talk sessions offer a holistic approach to improving mental health and overall well-being. We give our clients the opportunity to connect with nature allowing space for our clients to actively walk out and process their thoughts and emotions. Walk and Talk therapy can help you feel less inhibited and more comfortable expressing yourself. Nature itself is a wonderful source of calm, support and comfort. A common benefit of Walk and Talk therapy is regulating the nervous system including decreased stress and anxiety. Where do sessions take place? - Kingston beach - Blackmans Bay beach - Charles Darwin Trail, Bellerive How does confidentiality work with Walk and Talk Therapy? There will always be the chance that others passing by will hear parts of the conversation. Your therapist will have a discussion with you about your concerns and how you would prefer to navigate the potential of seeing someone you know while in a session. Are there risks involved in Walk and Talk Therapy? There is the potential to come across a variety of hazards including, slippery surfaces, trip hazards, traffic and inclement weather. It will be your responsibility for your own medical and physical safety and limitations while on a Walk and Talk Therapy session.
